The following are specific woodworking technologies presented.

  • Interpret working drawings
  • Learn how to use joinery techniques for smaller pieces of wood
  • Fabricate sections into sub-assembles instead of building the entire piece at once
  • Acquire proficiency in laying out holes for precision boring
  • Understand complex machining
  • Accomplish the art of Queen Anna style legs

Class for AGES 18 and UP or School's Permission

Class # SPI-653

A certificate is awarded upon class completion

Prerequisites:

    SPI-600, 601, 603 or with consent of the School. 
    NO materials or tools needed.

 

The class takes ninety-two hours in eight hour blocks of time over twelve-day period.  Days and times may be altered depending on the circumstances.

 

FEES:
Tuition $1795.00 + Laboratory $475.00 + Materials (solid oak) $225.00 = $2,495.00 and you keep the project.
