Anyone for A New Bed?

 

Build a Bed that the whole family will enjoy. Learn to Build a Project in separate modules and then Assemble the Modules together. Maybe make Queen Ann style feet for your project.

 

The following are specific woodworking technologies presented.

Upon completion of the course the student will be able to:

  • Interpret working drawings and Sizing a bead to a mattress
  • Learn Headboard styles and Footboard Stiles
  • Learn how to use joinery techniques for smaller pieces of wood
  • Fabricate sections into sub-assembles instead of building the entire piece at once
  • Acquire proficiency in laying out holes for precision boring
  • Understand complex machining

Class for AGES 18 and UP or School's Permission

Class # VF-109

A certificate is awarded upon class completion

Prerequisites:

   Master Woodworking Program Courses or with consent of the instructor 
   NO materials or tools needed.

 

The class takes seventy-two hours in eight hour blocks of time over nine-day period.  Days and times may be altered depending on the circumstances.

 

FEES:
Tuition $1500.00 + Laboratory $400.00 + Materials (solid oak) $175.00 = $2.075.00 and you keep the project.
