Fabricating a Pigeon Hole Unit for the Roll Top Desk (SPI-610)

The following are specific woodworking technologies presented.

Planning for duplication
Mass producing identical parts
Selecting joinery dependent upon design characteristics
Making different types of joinery with a router
Learning to identify and take into consideration joint expansion and contraction
Identifying sub-assembly sequence
Determining squareness of assemblies prior to gluing
Gluing and clamping sub-assemblies into a large assembly

Class for AGES 16 and UP or with consent of the School

Class # SPI-608

A certificate is awarded upon class completion

Prerequisites:

SPI-600, 601, 603, 610 or with consent of the instructor.
NO materials or tools needed.

The class takes sixty hours in eight hour blocks of time over a seven & 1/2-day period. Daily hours may be altered depending on the circumstances

FEES:
Tuition $765.00 + Laboratory $165.00 + Materials (solid oak) $75.00 = $1005.00 and you keep the project.
